Ask “The Credit Doctor”
Here is a question we just received by email from Fred. This is a great question.
Q: “Can i get a mortgage loan with bad credit? I need a little help/direction before I can start. Any nuggets of wisdom would be absolutely great and very much appreciated. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. – Fred”
A: Hi Fred, We cannot give personal advice about credit because everyone’s situation is different, however the good news is that most credit reports can be improved. Studies have shown that 79% of all credit reports contain errors…which means that MOST credit reports have errors. Errors are easiest to remove and they generally come off immediately with little effort. In many cases, repairing errors alone can mean the difference between being approved or denied for a mortgage. Accurate negative items take a bit more finesse and can be often be removed by negotiating directly with the creditors or collections, and by knowing more about how the system works and how to use the rules in your favor.
In our own Credit-Aid software site we offer free credit repair ebooks and free demo software for instant download at www.credit-aid.com . I hope that answers your question! Good luck to you!
Q: Why don’t my credit reports have a “score”?
A: Most Credit Reports ordered by consumers do NOT have credit scores. — especially those ordered for FREE from the Annual Service (which can be ordered via our software). Reports with scores are generally sold at a premium.
